My 1925 Ford Model T & Taree Historic Motor Club Inc. visit to the Manning River Aero Club

I took my beloved Shae with other Taree Historic Motor Club cars, including my 1925 Ford Model T; and visited Manning River Aero Club, warbird display at Taree Airport.

The star attraction was a TBM Grumman Avenger torpedo bomber, built in 1942.

Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. Best Friends.

Two of the finest minds in history – Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, the best of friends…

So much so, that Ford gave Edison a 1916 Model T of his own!

My 1925 Ford Model T – Adding a Klaxon “Ooga” Horn

In this video, I show you the neat new addition to my Model T — a 1925 Klaxon Model 12B horn, made by Remy Electric Co.

Not technically a correct accessory for a Model T I know, but still something to make people smile at the car shows, and a good conversation piece!

Petr’s Ford Model T in Czech Republic

Here’s Petr’s Model T

I do own 1920 Model T, imported from USA to Czech Republic and Iam having quite a problems setting the carb correctly

attaching couple of photos as you probably never seen some Czech Republic Model T, right? :)

I am cleaning the gas tank and pipes and carb as it seems that I have some dirt there as my car wasn’t started till like 5-6turns from bottom (and of course then it was very very rich)

also the starter spring cracked in half yesterday so starting is a bit more complicated again

Video: 1925 Ford Model T at Mid Coast Ford Motorfest 2015

So I took my darling Shae to this years Mid Coast Ford Motorfest in Tuncurry.

The weather was fantastic, and I would estimate some 150 cars turned up for the event.

Here’s the event video…

  • Allan Walters with his 1929 Chrysler 75

Weekend on Wheels 2015 – Video

My attendance at one of the larger Show & Shine events on the Mid North Coast – Weekend on Wheels, Taree NSW. The event was sponsored by Taree Rescue Squad.

My Model T at Weekend on Wheels 2015 – Taree NSW

Weekend on Wheels 2015, Sunday 31st May.

A very wet day indeed! The organizers were kind enough to have the Model T and the Rover undercover in the pavilion, so our cars didn’t get drenched!

I’d say there were about 50 cars in total turned up this year – including Fatty the Ratrod… compared to well over 200 last year.

In spite of the rain, still an enjoyable day. Shae and I enjoyed a wood-fired pizza for lunch.

In attendance from Taree Historic Motor Club, we had…

  • Greg Lee was greedy and brought 3 cars along! These were the 1913 Rover Torpedo, 1962 Holden EJ and 1978 Datsun 120Y
  • Mitch Taylor and Shae with the 1925 Ford Model T
  • Allan Walters with his  1929 Chrysler 75
  • There was also the green Austin A35 whose owner’s name eludes me….

Video pending…

I sure wish I had my speedster back…

Jim Klous shared this on the Model T Enthusiasts Group on Facebook…

“I sure wish I had my speedster back… My dad and I built it in 1965 and drove it until 1968 when I went into the Navy. It was stored at my dad’s house until 1976. This photo was taken in 1976 at Reedley Jr. College in Reedley, California. They were having a Vintage Vehicle Day and bicentennial celebration. The gentleman cranking is one of the instructors, and the other gentleman and I went to surrounding towns with a P A system and advertised the event. This had a 1921 engine, 26-7 transmission, Ruxtell rearend, and wheels.”
