My 1925 Ford Model T at Mid Coast Ford Motorfest 2015

So I took my darling Shae to this years Mid Coast Ford Motorfest in Tuncurry.

The weather was fantastic, and I would estimate some 150 cars turned up for the event.

In attendance from Taree Historic Motor Club were…

  • Mitch Taylor and Shae with the 1925 Ford Model T
  • Greg Lee with his 1913 Rover Torpedo
  • Allan Walters with his 1929 Chrysler 75
  • Lindsay & Robyn Higson with their 1967 Bedford truck
  • Ray Lapham and his 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit
  • Brian Kelleher with his Morris fire truck

If i’ve forgotten anyone, I’m sure I will be fined! 🙂

Here’s some pics of my T…

My Model T at Weekend on Wheels 2015 – Taree NSW

Weekend on Wheels 2015, Sunday 31st May.

A very wet day indeed! The organizers were kind enough to have the Model T and the Rover undercover in the pavilion, so our cars didn’t get drenched!

I’d say there were about 50 cars in total turned up this year – including Fatty the Ratrod… compared to well over 200 last year.

In spite of the rain, still an enjoyable day. Shae and I enjoyed a wood-fired pizza for lunch.

In attendance from Taree Historic Motor Club, we had…

  • Greg Lee was greedy and brought 3 cars along! These were the 1913 Rover Torpedo, 1962 Holden EJ and 1978 Datsun 120Y
  • Mitch Taylor and Shae with the 1925 Ford Model T
  • Allan Walters with his  1929 Chrysler 75
  • There was also the green Austin A35 whose owner’s name eludes me….

Video pending…

I sure wish I had my speedster back…

Jim Klous shared this on the Model T Enthusiasts Group on Facebook…

“I sure wish I had my speedster back… My dad and I built it in 1965 and drove it until 1968 when I went into the Navy. It was stored at my dad’s house until 1976. This photo was taken in 1976 at Reedley Jr. College in Reedley, California. They were having a Vintage Vehicle Day and bicentennial celebration. The gentleman cranking is one of the instructors, and the other gentleman and I went to surrounding towns with a P A system and advertised the event. This had a 1921 engine, 26-7 transmission, Ruxtell rearend, and wheels.”
